Wood is one of my favorite materials to work with, especially this time of year. But this father and daughter duo is taking woodworking (and family relationships) to a whole new level.
So folks, today I want you to meet the brains and brawn behind Maker Made, Stephanie Todaro and her father Giovanni.
What started as a simple project to build a bench together has grown into a family business and an outlet for Stephanie and Giovanni’s shared creativity. Everything from the Maker Made workshop is hand built with a rustic finish. And since no two pieces of wood are alike, their products are truly one of a kind.
I mean, who doesn’t love handmade goods?
Maker Made’s collection is meant for every area in your home. From wood grain garden accessories to kitchen décor and desk organizers, the duo not only knows what works well, but they have a knack for accessorizing in style. And since wood has such a beautiful and durable finish, Maker Made’s products are built to last.
Cheese, anyone?
I admire Maker Made’s approach to woodworking because it’s simple and genuine, just as a family should be! Not to mention, it’s the perfect time to use wood accents in your décor because it helps to bring a bit of the outdoors into your home to warm it up for the season.
And did I mention their workshop is close to home? All they have to do is step out into their garage, grab all the necessary tools, and get to work. Talk about a short commute!
Nice work Stephanie and Giovanni, keep it up!
