This is the season… As we enter the warm summer months many of us will find that we are either invited to a bridal shower or are hosting one. Creating the perfect bridal shower requires some careful preparation and a little imagination. After all, you want to make sure the bride is wowed…
So where to start? I always like to pick a theme first, something that the bride loves – perhaps it is a favourite iconic film, a particular city, or an activity she likes. Even if it’s a bit quirky, like bowling, go with it! Remeber this is for the bride and you want it to reflect her personality. To help get you inspired I have included some photos of some very chic and unique bridal showers.
Next pick a location. Opt for one that is easy to get to and you can arrange car service or taxis to and from. Then the fun starts… carefully assemble the guest list (happy guests only please!) and make some custom invites that match your theme.
For food and beverage, always stick to the brides color palette, and shop for snacks that are easy to eat and can be left out (like cake pops or a candy bar). Create a signature cocktail for your bride, and again try to stick to that color theme she loves.
Last but not least don’t forget an activity, if she likes crafts think about having various craft stations where you make jewelry or headbands. Rental photo booths are also an affordable and memorable activity. The most important thing to remember is to have a great time!
