Welcome Back!
Time to get back to the sunshine state aka my First to the Future home. So much progress has been made since demolition day. Check out the latest episode below to see where we’re at…
It’s finally starting to take shape and really look like a home, but we still have a long way to go. Some highlights from the past few weeks include raising the DECRA roof, letting the light shine into the LaCantina doors, wrapping the house and much more. I can tell you all of this, but to paint a better picture, take a look at some updated pics from the site.
Birdseye Views
Here’s a view from the very top before the DECRA shingles were installed.
And here’s the finished look in all it’s glory. Can somebody say raise the roof?!
Happy as a kid in a sandbox, only my sandbox happens to be house wrap… ha!
ClipStone chimney lookin’ good for Mr. Claus this year. I’m starting my wish list early.
We also heat things up after the Heat & Glo install. Can’t wait to fire this thing up during the winter season.
Is There a Breeze in Here?
And last but not least, I stopped by the Viwinco warehouse to test out their impact-resistant windows. They actually let me shoot a 2×4 out of a cannon to simulate what it would be like during a hurricane. See what happens below…
Seriously awesome! Thanks for tuning in. Until next time…
