Okay folks, if you’ve been following me on Twitter or Facebook, you might have noticed that I officially announced a new (yeah, I managed to take on yet another project) building series with NextGen Home TV called, “First to the Future.” So this one will probably take more than 7 days, but we are seriously breaking some new ground in Eco-friendly home design. I couldn’t wait to share this with everyone because it truly is a great step in the right direction.
I’ve been working with people to build homes for deserving families for years and it totally changed the way I see a home; it needs to be something more than just a roof over your head.
A home needs to truly be a place where you can live a better life.
The past few weeks were full of the good stuff… contractor meetings, demolition duty, green planning, etc. And I have to tell you, it’s been a blast. I love to knock stuff down, but I can’t wait to create and use less waste by recycling and re-purposing old materials. So fun!
how to reuse and recycle old cement and materials from the old house on the property was just as fun. This is what it’s all about! Here are some exclusive behind-the-scenes pics I snapped…
This is one of the first photos I captured of the house/location.
I mean, who doesn’t love to tear things down…
In case you missed the first 2 episodes, watch them below. Or head over to NextGen Home TV where you can see the whole series!
Episode 1: A brieft introduction…
Episode 2: Demolition baby!
Oh and can’t forget to give a shout out thanks to all of the awesome people and companies that are giving me a hand with this one. I’ll be sharing the details as the project progresses, so don’t forget to tune in and check back. Might even bring out the megaphone…
