Design | Entryways

You never get a second chance at a first impression… and I believe your home should express who you are.  We don’t think about it much, but the first thing you see when you walk in has an impact on how people see actually you.  So I say personalize that space with something that really reflects YOU. Whether it’s a cool lamp fixture from a vintage shop, a big photo of your favorite travel spot, art work or albums from your favorite artists… anything that says “so this is YOUR place”.

Here are a couple of foyers I’ve found that really capture your attention as soon as you enter. Some are sparse and some are vibrant, but they all have a style of their own that sets the stage for the rest of the house.

What do you think sets the tone in an entryway?
