My inbox is totally full with messages from you guys and I gotta say, it’s pretty awesome. I recently came across a design dilemma and I think a lot of people can relate…
“Do you have any below budget ideas for a bedroom that has no closet?”
Whether you’re working with a small space or you have one of those closets that don’t provide much room for your wardrobe, there’s a bunch of different ways to tackle your closet conundrum without spending a fortune.
One really inexpensive solution is a simple clothing rack. Depending on your space you can use a freestanding model or attach one underneath shelves. You can even DIY a clothing rack from a PVC pipe or similar material. This cool hanging clothes bar DIY is a good example. Try it out!
If you have a picture ledge in your room, put it to proper use and install a hanging rod beneath it for your wardrobe. This also works for any open space underneath shelving units.
Or you can get creative and repurpose a ladder. This is especially good for kids’ clothes, because lets face it, they’re the perfect size for rungs. Shoes too! Things like armoires or pie safes are funky, unconventional solutions to consider if you’re feeling creative.
Don’t forget drapes! Pick or purchase your favorite fabric pattern that compliments your home. They work well to disguise your wardrobe too, since it might not always be clean and tidy. Laundry day!
